Each week, we read selected readings that were aimed at prompting our exploration of given topics. In addition to the assigned readings, we were responsible for finding one or two additional readings that related to the weekly topic. Upon completing our readings, we were given the opportunity to analyze what we had read and highlight their importance and contribution to our understanding of the topic. In addition to providing topics of discussion for our class sessions, this exercise was an opportunity to practice finding secondary sources that we would later need for our research papers.
